316 stainless steel strip are molydbenum bearing stainless steels possessing a greatly increased resistance to chemical attack as compared to that of the basic chromium-nickel analysis,exhibits better corrosion resistance, but with slightly reduced spring properties. 316 stainless steel can be used in temperatures up to 550°F (228°C).Stainless Steel 316 also offers higher creep,stress-to-rupture,and tensile strengths at elevated temperatures than any other stainless steel.
